În ultimii ani, experienţa Spotify vine la pachet cu ceva nou: inteligența artificială în muzică.
Pentru prima dată în istoria sa de 20 de ani, Spotify a anunțat datele despre topul 20 de muzică, cărți audio și podcasturi cele mai ascultate în streaming de la crearea platformei. Rezultatele s-ar putea să nu fie deloc șocante.
Rezultatele marchează şi câteva surprize…negative pentru unele dintre vedete. De exemplu, interpreta americană Beyonce nu a intrat în topul celor mai ascultați 20 de artiști pe Spotify, dar niciuna dintre piesele sau albumele sale nu se regăsește în topurile aferente. K-pop-ul, un subgen cu o bază de fani uriașă și foarte dedicată, a obținut, de asemenea, o singură mențiune, prin trupa BTS.
În schimb, deloc surprinzător, cel mai ascultat artist din ultimii 20 de ani este nimeni alta decât superstarul Taylor Swift.

Cel mai ascultat podcast din toate timpurile este „The Joe Rogan Experience”, iar cea mai populară carte audio este „A Court of Thorns and Roses”, cartea fantasy romantică a scriitoarei americane Sarah J. Maas.
